Hello Beauty and Confidence Seekers!

I specialize in creating contemporary portraits of women and their families, mother and daughter portraits, personal branding images and personalized fine art legacy pieces of each of my clients. At the studio, we have a hair and makeup stylist and we design a vanity fair magazine style portrait photoshoot. Every woman who joins us at the studio for a photoshoot experiences what it feels to be a celebrity for a day and incredibly beautiful. It’s the ultimate celebrity-for-a-day experience.

 

Most people have never had a makeover, let alone a professional photoshoot. A wardrobe of clothes is available for you at the studio and I teach you what to bring, what to wear, how to gaze and I will gently guide you step by step during our photoshoot so that you look absolutely gorgeous. We will have a consultation and a wardrobe session prior to your photos to prepare you for the most amazing experience.

 

Ten days after your photoshoot, when you come back for your reveal session, we will look at all the portraits we took of you and what you like you buy.

 

People come to me for photos because they are turning 30, 40, 60, and they want to celebrate it, or maybe you want photos for work or LinkedIn, or maybe you want photos with your sister, mother, daughter or best friend. Or if you are a high school senior and it’s time for senior photos or just professional headshots, or maybe you want to have a dream shoot somewhere around the world, maybe in the Bahamas on the beach or in Paris in front of a castle, the possibilities are endless.

 

You don’t even need a reason to have a photoshoot. Why not document every year of your life so that you have those photos to look back on and remember your life? I am inviting you to a personalized photoshoot with me, it will literally changes the way you see yourself. It’s also so much fun, you deserve to have photos that you are proud of, you deserve to exist in photos, so let’s do this, I am so looking forward to meeting you and photographing you.

 

The Why:

In my first year in college, I was offered a portrait class in my photography curriculum. I picked Hollywood Style Portraiture as my semester theme, as I was honing my craft, my subjects started sharing their experience with me after the photoshoot and I was hearing “I see myself differently now” and “I love how I look more than ever before”. It literally changed the way they see themselves and I immediately recognized what my calling was and the impact I can bring to other’s success and wellbeing. I graduated with a BFA in Photography from the Institute of Art, and I am continually pushing myself further to stay up to date with current trends in the industry, I utilize the most state of the art equipment and bring the most advanced level of knowledge in my industry to the studio for our photoshoots.

 

After dozens of awards, thousands of photoshoots and an abundance of uplifting time, tons of smiles and laughter in my studio, I count my blessings every day to get to do what I love and love what I do.

Lucy Luhan, Chef, Restauranteur, Author, Entrepreneur

Lucy Luhan is a first-generation Italian, born in Connecticut, was raised in a European household where old traditional values and customs prevailed. Making fresh pasta was a daily activity. With an extended family of relatives from Italy, traditional food habits predominated. Fruits and vegetables grown in the family gardens were canned every summer and wine made every fall.
